Hello! My name is Lane and I’m so glad that you’re here!

I teach movement for a happy body to help you be able to do the things that you want to do ... excelling at your career, taking care of a family, pursuing a physically-demanding skill ... without unnecessary physical pain.

Whether in Pilates, Tone or Stretch, I teach you what “neutral” means and how it applies to both every day movement and more involved physical activities like ballet dancing, carrying your 30 pound toddler or running your next 10k.

If you want to get started, check out my 7 FREE CLASSES below!

I send one weekly email + special announcements on occasion.

Read on to learn more about my background.

Prior to working in the world of fitness, I was a professional modern dancer. From early childhood through my college years I trained under Andrea C. Hill at the Ballet Theatre of Central Pennsylvania (BTCP) and spent summers training at the schools of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Martha Graham Dance Company and Paul Taylor Dance Company.

After enjoying a career dancing in New York City and touring the U.S., I returned to Pennsylvania as Assistant Artistic Director of the Performing Arts School of Central Pennsylvania (PASCP, formerly BTCP) and moved into the position of School Director within the manner of a few years. While in NYC, I had begun my STOTT PILATES® certification training and brought that training to the students of PASCP. During that time, I launched Brio Dance Company, a professional non-profit and enjoyed choreographing and producing shows with some of my dearest friends and long-time students.

When my husband and I moved to Atlanta in 2013, I began teaching for the Atlanta Ballet where I had the pleasure of creating works on both young dancers and advanced Conservatory dancers, many of whom have since landed contracts with professional ballet companies.

During this time with the Atlanta Ballet, I launched into the process of achieving my Full Level 1 STOTT PILATES® certification which includes training in mat, reformer, cadillac, chair and barrels as well as an additional course called Injuries and Special Populations (ISP). Through ISP I learned how to safely and effectively train clients in pre and post physical rehab as well as clients with osteopenia/osteoporosis, herniated discs, gait issues, etc. My favorite of all was learning how to best train the pre and post-natal client.

In December 2015, my husband and I welcomed our identical twin daughters into the world and a year later I completed my STOTT PILATES® Full Level 1 course training. In addition to obtaining my STOTT PILATES® Full Level 1 certification, I am a Qualified Instructor in both Total Barre® and ZEN•GA® Mat + Equipment.

For 7 years, I taught one-on-one and group Pilates classes at a Merrithew™ STOTT PILATES® Licensed Training Center.

When COVID hit the nation and we were all faced with the effects of the pandemic, I decided that it was time to pursue what my heart had always longed for ... to make movement for a happy body a lifestyle opportunity.

I am thrilled that you are here and I can’t wait to "see" you in class whether it's virtually over Zoom or through our recorded On Demand classes!
